While i like all kinds of reverse trikes and would buy dozens of them if i was rich, i cannot afford to build more than one trike. Well, about 2 months ago i found the kind of trike i really like so i went looking for as many pic's of it as i could. Not a lot of pic's since it really is only a design concept. About a month ago i decided that i really want this RT so i have decided to build my own as close to the original look of the design as possible. Since this was a electric tilting front suspension trike and i did not think i had the skill's necessary to built it that way, my trike will only somewhat look like design. I am using a honda 750 shadow engine and drivetrain and a non-tilting suspension so it will be different. But it will be my one of a kind RT. Here is the original design. Here is my mockup wooden build designed to fit me and the parts i'm using to build it. When i start building the chassis i will post on my build thread on the forum. srx660

Pedals? Fire insurance? Why does this remind me of the TV show "Our Gang"...

Orkin account for Termites? Plywood is a good mockup material. And within reason it can also be structural if bonded and sealed from moisture.

OK, Funny guys from the peanut gallery. I build body's out of wood because it is cheap and easy to modify compared to anything else. I tried making a foam body but found the shape can change easily and is hard to correct once glued up. Even with the wood build i constantly make small changes to make it look like what's in my mind. With wood the shape changes very little so i usually only need to build once(or three). Since i have the basic body lines built i am now building wood body stations and setting them on a platform i have built in the garage. I'm taking pictures as i build but want the stations done when i put up some picture's. I'm hoping a Urethane foam layer over the stations with some sanding and will give me a real good looking body. I'm still going to get one of these too. I don't like the body styling or the wheels, so here i go again modifying a brand new bike. I completely changed a 1977 kawasaki 750 twin i bought new and started on it the second day i owned it. I think this one will be more fun. Update, From what i have read about the Can-am Spyders gas mileage(average 33mpg), i am hoping the Ryker will get close to 45 mpg. My honda shadow 750 has been getting right at 48 mpg, so i am hoping. Funny that my old Kaw 750 twin was getting 58-60 mpg even with a hotrodded engine. I also notice that Rotax makes a ace 900 turbo 150 HP engine(HEHE!) Getting well ahead of myself here, and excited like a little kid. LOL.

For mock up I would suggest using Autodesk Fusion 360 - there are limitless resources on the internet for tutorials on CAD modeling. That software is not only free for non businesses, but it is somewhat intuitive as well! You can then sign up on a website like grabcad.com or thingaverse and take advantage of all kinds of parts people have modeled... engines, suspension, body panels, seats, all kinds of stuff! You would be surprised how little time it takes to fully concept model a vehicle in CAD if you have a good library of components to start out with from those two websites.
