Remember the Grinnall scorpion RT? I thought i could buy one years ago until i found out they were produced in England and the shipping cost more than the trike. Oh Well!

I remember those well. I seem to remember they had BMW power, but I am probably wrong.

Not wrong. I see a BMW shaft and ring and pinion housing attached at the rear wheel hub.

Yes the Grinnall ran the BMW K-100 drivetrain. Somewhere on my computer i have a picture of the K100 badge on a Grinnall. I'm looking for it.The K100's were anywhere from 75 to 130 HP and most had the 6 speed trans. I still remember the owners on the Grinnall forum complaining about the driveline klunk. Designed by Steve Harper in 1991 and started building then in 1992. In 1998 a 4 wheel version came out(Yuck!). The first picture says K1000 V16 next to the windshield.
