Can you spot the new angle of the coil over shock? 18 degrees and the new lower bracket with .5 offset towards the shock? Now I can measure the distance of the cross brace that holds the upper heim joint for support, then the pull-push rods...

Just a suggestion Tommy: Before welding anything, I would remove the spring from the shock, clamp one end in a bench vice, angle it the way you have here and manually put it through its full stroke, making sure there are no dead or slack spots along the travel. Not a very definitive test but it will alert you to any gross malfunction that might occur when the shock is mounted as you intend.

I love this photo, the amount of work and re-work that went into it, Now I am getting ready for the upper frame rails... This seat works best with the frame design and I am playing with the fender and bags (bagger?) Pulled out the ride height box and hope to start on the upper rails Monday...

Boy am I getting lazy, I am still putting things away and then try to find something... Started on the RT working table, Don't know about you guys but working on the floor is out for me at my age, BUT the 30" 4x8 table top is out also to hard to lean over, So this is where I am at in the garage and still looking for a TIG welder AND, YES for the 220 electricity I know have, Now is there going to be room for the table, bike, car and be able to roll the RT off the table? Playing with the handle bars and seats, notice the upper frame rails to be about 12" above the ground...

I am not happy with the upper frame rails being 19" wide and the seat less? floor boards? But the engine is 16.5" wide? SOOOOO!!! I think it's time to set the engine and do a work around after the front control arm upper rails are finished, I should take a upper photo of seat and rails. Mocked up the gas tank brace and tie end for the seat...

Good to see things moving quickly after your household moving tomy. You Do keep busy, EH!. I see a electric scooter and a homemade Mustang style cycle there. You want to start another Trike? WOW! I'm still plodding along with my honda 750 trike but having too much fun with my ryker is taking time away from the build. I wish i had all the tools you have in your garage. I have figured out that the cost of having a local machine shop do all the welding i will need done, i could pay for a TIG welder(thinking Eastwood MP200i - $700). His prices are a bit high for me.
Thank you for showing the members what they can do, if they have a mind to, with your thread here. admin

OK! Well almost 3 wheels, With it being held together with clamps, tack welds and magnets I like the look so far, Need to lean the steering back some, but that brace is also the front engine mount and gas tank, more mock up...
