Mock up the right exhaust and here lies a problem with the cross over tube, It will hit the lower frame soooo! Do I cut and patch or route it through the frame?

Or just cap off the crossover. When i was running a rebel 250 engine in a go-cart that's what i did. I didn't notice and loss of power and it was not any louder. I did switch to shorty mufflers cause the originals stuck way out the back, and they were a bit louder. admin

Starting to mock up the foot peg and shift linkage...EDIT, I do not like the look of these on the trike frame, I'll be making my own foot rest/platform and use the shift linkage from the Rebel...

Playing with the shift linkage, ordered another arm from eBay so I can also foot down for up shifting and will try foot pegs at 8" long to keep my foot away from the exhaust pipe. EDIT This is to see the location of the shift rod, will it miss the upper frame and exhaust? The bracket needs to be 2" from the side of the frame and then 6" more to keep my foot away from the exhaust, I'm thinking 1 1/4 OD x 1/8+ wall...

I think you need some 'C' clamps.

More clamps and more mock up. Also checking to see how close the alignment is, will set caster at 5-7 degrees and everything else at zero for starters. Your opinion counts here so please weigh in???
