Since most of the motorcycle's have the speedometer in the front wheel, which we do not have, what are OUR options? GPS? Speedhut.com OR ViewLine Silver 120 MPH 3-3/8" Speedometer with GPS Speed Sender, signals high beam wow!

My engine choice does not have this problem due to a speed sensor for the computer built into my swingarm.
But there are come bicycle speedo units that you mount/glue small magnets to the rim or spokes and then mount a pickup sensor near the rim. While not real exact, small screen and maybe hard to read in the dark they do work. The setup requires knowing the tire diameter.

How does a electric speedo work? I like the trip odometer for fuel gage.

My Koso works off a pickup mounted to the front hub which gets passed by 3 equally spaced brake disc mounted and recessed magnets each rotation of the wheel. Click on the image and then again on the succeeding image for some fine detail.
