"Shenanigans" Is what I am going to be pulling when this is on the road... This is a 1-4 model actual size, bucket seat, jump seat for wife, rear engine. I will start this one when the RebelRouser build is over. For now I will be looking at parts I want to use. Mustang 2 IFS, Rack and Pinion center steering.

The swing arm, Harley... Swing Arm and Rim... Wheel is centered L&R... Swing arm and rim are centered and plenty of room for the chrome allen head bolts, and a nice fat azz tire...

I like what you are doing and I will help as much as I can.
Are you planning to use cables from that point to the actual shifter.
You might als liik into a swash plate design like are used on helecopters rotor assembly.

Rack and pinion steering is good looking and fairly simple, but I also hear there's a lot of free play (not good) This unit is from Dan's..

In one of the forums pages I posted a fix for a cheap $100 Rack&Pinion that a friend and I came up with. He milled a stainless steel shim to go under the RACK between it and the aluminum rail that it bolted to. This shim stock was like thick aluminum foil and took up a lot of the slop. Dan's has lots of neat stuff. This steering adjuster allows the steering wheel to lift up so you can get in easier and allows tilt adjustment too. (Liteway does NOT need this item)

Thank you now I know why I could not find it as I was looking in street and not offroad.
I wonder why they think the street people do not need these things?
I also forget the search function at times.
