Hello All, I'm just in the planning stages of my reverse trike build, planning on building a 600-1000 size build depending on the size bike I can find. So far my favorite design I have found has been captamerica's trike. I'm really digging the sit down style. I first found the DF Goblin kit car, but didn't like that there wasn't a more DIY version of the kit, and by the time it was done I would have a lot of money into it. This won't be that much different, but the initial investment isn't $7k right off the bat just for the kit, it's more funneling money into the project over time. It's also much more custom and can make changes over time. It also has the downside of easily getting sidetracked... I finally have put some effort in working off of captamerica's measurements from his thread and got a little bit of my cockpit hacked together. I plan on using all 1.25" tubing. I have a roguefab bender and notcher, hobart welder, homemade cnc plasma table, cnc router that can cut aluminum, so hopefully I will be able to have some fun with all those tools on this project. I will do my best to keep some updates on here, it looks like it has been pretty quiet lately. Bear

Yep, we are poor for new content. Other than Tomy, nothing in the way of moving projects here. Most everything else is back burner stuff. Sounds like you are focused and well equipped tool wise. Best of luck. Let the sparks fly.

Yes, it sounds like your off to a great start, for a majority of the common components like steering rack, a-arms, brakes you can get from a small car or trike. Identifying these parts early on will be crucial for your chassis design. We will look forward to seeing your build evolve, best of luck!
