This is a small low down trike. This is the first trike we built back in 1984-85. The owner built two. First one was almost exactly as the plans but he used a 175cc single and got 135 MPG. He mounted headlights up front and made the rear "Tailfin" smaller and thinner.
But the second one was stretched to make it Tandem and taller because he did not want to lay down all the time. He used a 67 Honda CL160 twin cylinder engine on the second one. It still got 90 MPG doing 70-80 MPH. I never got to finish it with him as I was on leave from Germany. About 10 years ago he still had the smaller single seater.
Current plans are $35 Paypal.

One thing I want to point out. Where the fuel tank is you do not want a leak as its at your left shoulder.
He used 2 custom aluminum tanks of 5 gallons each. He was "T" boned and got covered in fuel. Lucky it did not ignite.
Use a mild steel or Polypropylene tank as they do not crack as easy when hit. Aluminum and fiberglass tanks are light but they crack easy.
