I don't know the reason you are selling it,but it has got to hurt. You have put a lot of time into getting it to where you want it. Hopefully some day you will have a chance to start another project deserving of you skills dedication to profection.

Lloyd, If I had $6500 I'd be getting a plane ticket to Ok City. I'd drive it back 1950 miles.
Hope things are doing OK for ya. I am just a PM away.

Thanks for concern fellas, but there is no hurt or financial problem. Just ready to move on. I am frustrated by the county roads in the area that are potholed and straight. I have done what I can to make the ride more compliant and keep noise levels down, but the older I get the more those things bother me. My rides tend to be short , aimless, repetitive. I do enjoy riding into the city once a month for cars and coffee.
Darn shame no clubs will let me autocross this. I would keep it for sure then.
I have been teetering on the brink of selling my FZ1 or using it's engine for upgrading the trike. It would solve a few problems as it would be a lot less busy on the highway and more flexible at low RPM. I think a lot quieter. Traction is sure to be a problem. That might be addressed somewhat by designing a rear suspension that squats instead of jacks, something along the lines of what is found on late BMW shaft models. Along with an engine swap, that is lot to take on. Anyway, cannot bring myself to part out such a nice bike, but I would not save much selling and looking for the rare suitable beater with a proven engine. As of now, my plan is to sell it too and buy a smaller bike. I have a deposit down on a Swartpilen 401
I tend to be fickle. I could pull the trike ad this afternoon. 0 response on the add so far. Anyway, if it sells, no more mega projects.

Thanks Dave. I have decided to hold on to it for a while and give the situation more thought. I have no deadlines. Except the big one.
