I liked the looks of this VW front suspension, BMW powered Reverse Trike. My only reservation is i am not into the frame outside of the body look. I like the smooth flowing lines of a full body. Still, it would be a fun ride, i think. srx660

Exo frames are the rage in England.
With what I know about VW front beams, I'd have cleaned that one up a lot. But still a NICE simple "Set on top" reverse trike.
In Washington state USA, I'd need a special TRIKE/Sidecar endorsment to ride that one. But id you set down in a chair seat, a steeringwheel and have a seatbelt you don't need a motorcycle endorsement even. You would still need a helmet with a faceshield.

That steering system is also simple. It looks like LONG tie rod shafts connected to a L lever on the handle bars shaft. That is the only way a VW may work without steep angles due to how the control arms are 90 degrees different from a normal Rack & Pinion car. Short Tie rods will give a lot of bump steer.

Smart he removed the torsion bars and used motorcycle coil overs on the front beam. True. But inboard levers and coil overs would work to clean up the VW shock towers.
That second picture what I'd have done is leave the torsion bar leaves in and connected on the swing arms but without the center locking adjuster it will act as an internal sway bar.
