When you widen the frame you also need to widen the steering arms... Possible seat bracket mock up piece?

I wonder why you are running the downtube so close to the motor. from your pictures, what i see is the swing arm has plenty of space between the front swingarm mount and the back of the motor to move the downtube a inch or two back from the carb and filter(for filter access), and run a straight downtube between the top and bottom frame rails. This gives you a little bit more legroom and adds a bit more weight(human body weight) on the back wheel for traction. Everything really depends on the exact style of trike you are looking for. Is the circle frame around the carb is for styling? Can't think of any other reason to do that. Also seems a 90 degree manifold is just a style gimmick. It neither hurts or helps the motor. That's just your call.
While i love the idea of a tiny trike that handles well and is fast, riding my Ryker has changed my mind about them. The trike i am building now has the frame extended to 8 feet 6 inches(8 inches more)and it's been lowered 2 inches. This is so my 6 foot body fits better on the trike and adds more space for a passenger. I am thinking will make it more stable in fast corners.

What kind of welder did you get? Hi Joe, Thanks for stopping by, I really like your RT and the build. Went to HF for a 220 (use to be a kiln in the garage) and they said 2 weeks so I said I will look around, Went to HD on line for a stick welder I can use for tacking and let a pro weld it up with TIG, My life will depend on these welds), Amico 200 amp 115/230 (#SF-200A) should handle 1/4" with no problem, $249.04 delivered next day, 15.6 LBS, 10ft cables.

The middle frame is causing me some problems with the foot peg/floor board location, so except for the control arm location up front I am thinking of piggy back the lower frame from front to rear, 1.25 sq x .125 wall = 1.25x2.50. I feel this will be strong enough,

Suggest mounting Jack shaft bearing assembly to frame surface with slightly elongated positioning holes to allow for finite adjustments to assure both chains are aligned with their respective sprockets. Great details of your build, good luck!
